The National Women’s Parliament hosted in Amaravathi !!

Though we are the largest democracy, women in India find themselves under-represented and far-removed from decision making levels. Women face many political, socio-economic, ideological and psychological obstacles. There is a dire need to remove these obstacles for their equal participation in all Spheres of Life.

"Yatra naryastu pujyante ramante tatra Devata, yatraitaastu na pujyante sarvaastatrafalaah kriyaah". which means where  Women are honored, divinity blossoms there, and where women are dishonored, all action no matter how noble remain unfruitful.

It is disheartening and rather shameful that a country where women were respected so much in ancient times has stooped to such level that women think twice before going out at night they are facing discrimination in each and every level of their life.

So to make realise the girl students potential Shri. N. Chandrababu Naidu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Shri. Rahul V. Karad implemented the thought of National Women’s Parliament (NWP) to action. It is heartening that visionary leadership of Government of Andhra Pradesh has hosted and extended the complete solidarity for this massive movement, initiated by Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
