Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched an Aadhaar based mobile payment application called BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money). Targets to increase the paperless payments for less cash society.
Bharat interface for money (BHIM) is a UPI based payment solution. This helps people to connect with their bank accounts digitally using their smartphones to send or receive money.

- Download BHIM app in Android play store using this link.
- Select the preferred language either English and Hindi.
- Allow the data permissions by clicking 'Allow'.
- Now, it automatically verifies your mobile number.
- Make sure that mobile number to get verified is in your phone. Also note same number should be registered with your bank.
- To make your transactions protected it will 4 digit pass-code.
- You will get a list of bank accounts registered with the number and bank you selected.
- Select the bank account you want to use with this app.

Sending money:
Make sure that recipient is registered with UPI. We can sne money using registered mobile number or recipient name, account number and bank IFSC code.
Request Money:
You can request money from anyone by entering the registered mobile number or by generating a QR code for a particular amount.
